Mortar, Charged Golem … a golem-like boss which can be found at the end of Delvemore Dungeon in Flooded Crater arena. Selt, Queen of Sand … a worm-like boss which can be found at the end of the Goldmine in Sand Pit arena. However skipping them has a penalty, as you cannot Ascend. They can be skipped using different methods. These enemies are stronger than the usual ones and also come with a set of dirty tricks, which makes them harder to beat. Summoned enemies no longer give money when damaged.Boss(es) are greater enemies of the Peasant.Gold Titan can no longer be damaged by direct splash damage.First wave appearance changed from wave 60 to wave 40 in Hard mode (now Golden mode).Granted immunity to Freezer's Freeze Drop ability.Gold Titan now appears at wave 60 instead of wave 56.The Gold Titan is a possible reference to Aurelionite from Risk of Rain 2.The Gold Titan was the first enemy to use R15 animations.This is weird considering that the Gold Titan appears to have no visible fingers. Golden Rain appears to rain down golden fists with a diamond shaped eye on them.This was the third major boss to be added to the game, though if you count the Swordmaster as a major boss, this was the fourth to be added.The Electroshocker cannot slow down the Gold Titan due to its large size and energy immunity.While the Freezer can still damage the Gold Titan, it is recommended that you sell the Freezer to place down another tower that is effective against it.However, they can freeze the Goldens and 24 Karats that spawn. The Freezer, the Frost Blaster and the Sledger cannot freeze the Gold Titan.The Commander can help massively as it decreases firerate for nearby towers.
The Commando, Ace Pilot and Pursuit, despite dealing splash damage, are useful against this boss as they can deal non-explosive damage.Sell them and replace them with high DPS towers such as the Turret or Minigunner.Splash damage towers, like the Rocketeer, Mortar and Demoman, are useless against this boss as they will deal zero damage towards the Gold Titan and its minions.You can use cheap towers, like the Scout, to distract the Gold Titan so that it does not target the main attacking towers.If your towers are crystallized, you can sell them and replace them, if you want to.When using any of its attacks, the Gold Titan will become immobile.Be sure to have towers capable of getting rid of the Goldens and 24 Karats it summons at the start of the map.It had a single rectangular eye in the middle of its head.
In its right hand, it wielded a golden sword. The Gold Titan was made of golden blocks to create a robot-type enemy.
The boss could rain golden fists from the sky as well, making an explosion upon landing, stunning towers. As well as these attacks, it could spawn 5-8 Goldens and 24 Karats at the start of the map, meaning that you needed towers to tackle these enemies. It could also smash the ground in one direction, stunning all towers in that direction. With this sword it could stab the ground which would stun all towers in the nearby vicinity. It had four abilities which could be hugely devastating. It was immune to all explosives, was immune to being frozen and had energy immunity. The Gold Titan walked quite slowly, slightly slower than the Slow Boss, but had an insane amount of health. The Gold Titan was the third major boss to be added into the game and was the final boss in Golden mode.
